A long term partnership to develop the new 3D printing technologies in construction

VINCI Construction becomes a shareholder, alongside other investors, and signs a partnership contract with XtreeE, a French start-up among the global leaders in 3D concrete printing. This partnership is combined with an investment in the company’s capital. It will allow acceleration of the development of XtreeE and strengthening of collaboration with the teams of VINCI Construction. It is also aimed at exploring and developing the opportunities offered by the new 3D printing technologies in construction.
On this occasion, Jérôme Stubler, Chairperson of VINCI Construction, said: “3D printing offers revolutionary prospects in the construction world and VINCI Construction wants to be among the leaders of this movement. After the recent creation of a joint-venture with SunPartner to develop solar technologies of the future, this partnership with XtreeE is a further illustration of the dynamism of the construction sector in terms of innovation”.

An innovative French start-up, XtreeE develops advanced 3D printing technologies on a large scale for the sector of architectural design, of engineering and of construction. Its offer includes collaborative design and the production of prototypes on a large scale, the renting of 3D printing systems on a large scale as well as the monitoring of the printing systems on a large scale used by customers.
