Invest Securities Corporate and L’lione & Associés form Invest Corporate Finance, leader among independent advisory companies in M&A and ECM

L’lione & Associés, an investment bank at the service of SMEs, has 20 years of experience in equity transactions. Independent and recognised for its competence, it is positioned over a wide spectrum of missions including fund raising, sales, acquisitions, LBOs, etc. It was involved in 11 transactions in 2015 among which the sale of SOLINA to ARDIAN, of PHICTAL to ATRILUX, of AVEO to FAYAT and of HAIRCOIF to PROVALLIANCE. The company was managed by four managing partners, Vincent Behr, Vincent Déchin, Marc O’Neill and Hervé Ries.

As for Invest Securities Corporate, it works with a clientele of listed groups, family businesses, financial institutions or investment funds in Europe and China. The team ended 2015 successfully, working on 31 transactions, of which 10 stockmarket listings, 4 debt issues, one takeover bid (ARDIAN for SERMA) and various mergers and acquisitions and equity transactions. And 2016 started, in particular, with the announcement of the acquisition of OROLIA by EURAZEO SME, which Invest Securities Corporate advises. Invest Securities Corporate was managed by Claude Breuil, Marc-Antoine Guillen, Virginie Lagrange, Gwenaël Le Berre, Bertrand Le Galcher Baron, Ghislain de Murard, Raphael Rossello and Jean-Emmanuel Vernay.

The new entity, Invest Corporate Finance, employs in total about thirty professionals with a “track record” among the best in its sector including more than 40 cumulative operations last year. Its integration within Invest Securities allows synergies between the activities of private wealth management of Equity Capital Market and Debt Capital Market to be strengthened.

Marc O’Neill stressed: “By combining our areas of competence, we put ourselves in a situation of offering to our customers a strengthened service. We thus have dual expertise in ECM and in M&A, adapted to a financial world where increasingly complex transactions require multiple sources of complementary financing both in debt and in equity”.

Bertrand Le Galcher Baron added: “This project, supported by all of the associates of the two teams, makes Invest Corporate Finance the leading independent player specialising in the Smallcap and Midcap Market. The size and the experience of the team allow us, in particular, to meet all of the needs for advice and execution of investment funds in their purchase and sale operations.”

Marc-Antoine Guillen, Chairperson of Invest Securities Holding, said: “I am very happy to combine our forces in this M&A market with L’lione and Marc O’Neill in particular. The Invest Group operates with success thanks to the strategic alliance between expertise in private equity, expertise in the stockmarket and private wealth management for entrepreneurs and the families”.
